It was lovely to write about what I’m currently reading for today’s Anthropocene Substack, giving platform to Ian Macartney, Jonas Mekas, Fay Victor and Christina Tudor-Sideri. You can read it here. With thanks to Anthropocene editor Charlie Baylis for the invitation.
I’ve also gotten around to listening to the new Andre 3000 album, which I think is great. I wonder if it's going to be a gateway to improvised musics for a general audience. But I also think it's breathing new life into the most disreputable of genres: lounge and easy listening.
And I should probably mention: my Hem Press released a new book this week. Check it out.
THANK YOU
